| The 1952 Blitz was an
excellent truck , affordable to buy , cheap to run and "rock" solid ,
with a big "slow" rev motor . It was a successfull model made between
1952 and 1959 in big numbers , for the time , almost 90000 . Different bodies and special equipment was made by Graaff , Magirus , Miesen , Metz , Ziegler , etc , for firemen , police , ambulance , mobile showroom , etc . |
| Talking about Blitz "lg"
modeltrucks in 1/87 scale we must think about Wiking in the first place
. This maker made the "lg" from 1957 , first year in catalogue , until
now , in 4 different body types and lots of color variants and liveries
. Brekina start making the "lg" in the 90's and now we have more than
120 different body / liveries variants . This Brekina model is very good
, with accurate lines and in 5 different bodies , normal truck ,
with or without canvas , van , chassis and open or closed beverage truck
. The following pictures are the last models I have bought .
