| Corgi Toys and Dinky Toys are major brands when we talk about model cars . Working almost only in the 1/43 scale , Corgi with the Corgi Junior and Dinky with the Dinky Dublo range tried the 1/60 scale in the 70's and in the end of the 50's respectively . The Corgi Toys Junior range is huge , hundreds of variants and was produced since 1970 until the 90's . Dinky name was used again in the 80's by Airfix in a serie of models made in Hong Kong . EFE , start in the early 90's making english trucks and buses . Extreme racers , was made in Hong Kong for a british shop . The 4 Mil Models is a metal kit maker of WWII models . Pic 1 , starting from the right , two Bedford TK , made by EFE , Exclusive First Editions , for the " Gilbow Railway Collection " . Sold as an Opel in Germany , they have a place in my collection . As always with EFE , excellent models , in an atractive yellow and black livery . I plan apply an Opel decal over the train service decals on the doors . Behind , a " tuning " special ! Astro V8 a " china toy " , lights and all . Plastic and near 1/50 scale . On the left you can see the Corgi line up . As you can see I have , blister and two different boxes for these Corsa / Nova cars . This is not a perfect model , because the base seems to be bigger than necessary It has an opening rear door . The red and black cars are common . Besides three different red and black cars here we have an yellow and a blue unboxed examples . The BP Vauxhall Nova and the Opel Corsa have a black metal base , while the other models have a black plastic base . All models have clear glazing and white or tan plastic interior . Yellow car with white interior , while blue has tan interior and both have a black rear door . I will describe the other models in pic 4 . |

Yellow metal body , opening rear door and chromed plastic base this isn't a good model but just a cheap one . Clear glazing and red plastic interior . " Go fast " stripes as decoration . |

view of the Dinky Chevette , blister and plastic base . The 4 Mil Models , is a white metal 1/76 kit of the 1937 Admiral . This is a small edition , I only saw this model selling on Ebay . Mine is unbuilt . On the right the Corgi Toys Opel Corsa . White metal body and black base , white plastic interior , black , silver and yellow Opel stripes on the motor hood and both sides , Opel on the motor hood and a big Opel badge on the roof . The box is this blue cardboard window box . |
