4th vitrine - Euromix and USA brands

     4th shelf - Euromix 1

Nice shelf with some rare toys . From Finland to Grece and from Holland to Russia here you can find a good selection from the rest of Europe .
     Starting from the right ,
a strange and rare find
Sretin four cars set from Jugoslavia . Admiral A , Rekord B , Mercedes and Ford are similar to the german toys , shown in the " Germanmix1 " shelf . Cars are smaller and even more simple , plastic shell and base , made of soft plastic and without glass . On the black plastic base we can read " Made in Western Germany " . Models new inside the opened blister .
Next we find two Opel Olympia Rekord P1 two doors , I have one blue and one light green , made by
Muovo from Finland . Very simple models , plastic shell , grey plastic base including bumpers and black plastic wheels with metal axles . No windows or interior , grille , etc engraved . The light green has a broken bumper , but otherwise almost new , only rubbing signs on the roof .
     Behind a rare Kapitan P 2.6 L , I think that this is a
Roco model , a Siku copy made in Austria . This light blue model has clear glazing and grey base including bumpers , silver painted grille , hub caps and headlamps , yellow and red rear lights . I will show the normal Roco models with the sets . Mint model .
Nearby a rare find , the
Vilmer Olympia Rekord P1 Caravan from Denmark . Very well done metal dark blue upper body , with white rear part of the roof , grey metalic base , one metal piece for the front bumper and grille and also metal rear bumper with rear lights . Metal wheels with rubber tires , clear glazing but no interior . My model is a " played with " model , but is complete . Missing one rear tire .
On the left two Opel Monza A models made by
Polfi Toys in Greece . This is a bad model with wrong body lines , it seems stretched . Metal body and base including bumpers , opening doors , clear glazing , plastic front and rear lights , plastic interior and small " fast wheels " . I have two cars , one black , " Kit " car , red sticker on the grille , tan interior and behind a white rally car , # 51 with Opel and Marlboro advertising .
The last model on this picture is the Rekord B made by
Efsi from Holland . Simple but well done model , made in the late 60's , with metal body and base including bumpers and grille . Opening doors . clear glazing , plastic interior and black plastic wheels . Mine is a very good example , only rubbing signs on the roof , with light cream body and red plastic interior . The model has front suspension problems , wheels almost inside the body , so I'm trying to buy another model but mint boxed .

Pic 2 , the front view of the Sretin  models . Easy to see the resemblance with german unknow maker toys , I talked about .
On the right four 4 / 8 PS Doktorwagen , prize inside the Kinder chocolate eggs . Extremely simple models , metal body , plastic mudguards and wheels with metal axle . I have one light green , but the other three aren't painted , as you can see . Mine have dark grey , cooper and chromed metallic finish . I don't know if they come in those yellow plastic boxes .

Pic 3 , The Kinder toys line up on the left .
The Corsa B models are made in Russia by
Radon , well I think this is the correct name , but I'm not 100% sure . These models were also sold under Herpa name , I've shown them on the german vitrine . Different box , same metal model . I have only these two colors , but Herpa has also a metallic blue model .
Next model the ugly Polfi Toys white Monza A and in first plan the Best Box line up .

The last maker in this shelf is
Best Box from Holland . Best and Efsi models are similar , so I think they have something in common . I believe that Best Box evolve to Efsi because they made the Rekord A and B while Efsi only made the Rekord B . Help welcome . As for Efsi , simple but well done model , made in the mid , Rekord A and late 60's for the B , metal body and base including bumpers and grille . Opening doors . clear glazing , plastic interior and plastic wheels . My Rekord A models , both unboxed , are almost mint , with white and light grey body , red interior and grey plastic wheels . I have four Rekord B models , similar to the Rekord A model , only the grille and rear lights are different . I have 2 red models one mint and another mint boxed , both with white interior and grey plastic wheels . The green is almost mint , also with white interior and black wheels while the light blue is the worst with rubbing and left door problems . Next another Euromix .
