3rd vitrine - German brands
5th shelf - " Germanmix " 2

Only recent toys in this shelf . Well known makers like Herpa , Darda , Microchamps , etc , in unusual 1/ 64 scale . Another curiosity ,  only 2 different models , Opel Corsa B and Calibra .

Pic 1 , on the right three Herpa Opel Corsa B 3 doors in 1/66 scale . Made in Russia by Radon it was sold under Radon and Herpa name . Diecast body and base , painted front and rear lights , clear glazing and grey plastic interior . I only know these three colors , light metallic blue , purple and red .  I've never saw these models selling here in Portugal . Even in Ebay they are seldom seen on sale . I have the three colors three models all mint boxed .

In the middle three Opel Calibra Darda models . In the 70's Helmuth Darda invented the " Darda Mega - Motor " , a small precision motor that aloow high speeds for small models . They run in any smooth and clean surface but with the special racing car set , they can make turns , loops , etc , at very high speeds , up to 40 km/h .
I have a standard mint and boxed blue and one mint red Calibra . The other car is a promotional " Deutsche Bank " silver Calibra , only difference is the small blue badge .

On the left the Microchamps 1993 Calibra . Even if it Microchamps is a Paul's Model Art GmbH brand , these models aren't correct with a wrong rear spoiler . However they have a correct decoration . My nº 5 Rosberg car has a rear windscreen wisher , while nº 6 Reuter car hasn't that " important feature " !

Pic 2 , in the middle two Microchamps , 1995 DTM Presentation , Rosberg Team Calibra models . Even if  presentation models , the 1993 type model was used , so they have a wrong body , with an almost correct livery . I have nº 1 , Ludwig and nº 2 Keke Rosberg car , both mint and boxed .

Behind a standard Calibra , german brand , sold as " Best toys " but the box is also marked as " My City Conveyers " . Black diecast body , clear glazing , plastic interior . On the motor hood transversal gold stripe with an Opel badge and a big white " King " while on the roof also white " DOHC Sports 16V " . Mine is mint and boxed .

Pic 3 , 1996 Zakspeed and Rosberg Team for the DTM . New casting , but inaccurate body ! This time we have a 1995 DTM car with good 1996 decorations . Strange thing is ... they made the 1995 car but the correct decorations weren't released ! I have all versions , Zakspeed Team with cars # 16 for Uwe Alzen and # 17 for Klaus Ludwig and Opel Team Rosberg # 43 for J.J. Llehto and # 44 for Hans Jr Stuck .

Pic 4 , side view of the Microchamps Team Rosberg Calibra . In the middle the Joest car ... same car ... same problem , 1995 body with 1996 decoration .  On the right the 1993 cars of Reuter and Rosberg .
