1 st vitrine - Matchbox models

     4th shelf
Opel Frontera ( Vauxhall Frontera and Isuzu Rodeo and Amigo )

The 4th and 5th shelves are reserved for the 1991 Frontera , 1989 Rodeo and Amigo models  . There are lots of different liveries so I have only Fronteras in the 4th shelf and the Isuzu models are all in the 5th shelf . This is a very good model with a lugage rack , front bar and spare tire in the back . These models were sold with various references , MB52 , 55 , 56 , 59 , 65 , etc . My favorites are my 3 Frontera / Rodeo prototypes , one unpainted and the 2 others in a color never released .

In pic 1 , one prototype and 2 pre-production models . The 2 metallic dark yellow models are pre-production models , base engraved but no brand , Opel , Vauxhall or Isuzu and color never released , at least I don't know . The unpainted model is a real prototype , no grille , no paint , plain black base , nothing engraved , and no spare wheel only the hole in the back . All Fronteras have an engraved front grille behind the front bar but this model hasn't it . This is one of favorite and maybe the rarest Matchbox I have .

In pic 2 , on the right the # 59 , only model with Opel Frontera box . Mint boxed model , nice blue body with black interior , front bars and bumpers and it was made in China . On the left one of the Frontera , no brand , it can be Opel or Vauxhall .

Pic 3 , # 59 , blister and box . Both Frontera , no brand on the box and blister , made in Thailand . # 65 is a Vauxhall Frontera . Excellent model with very nice blue / yellow livery , made in China .

Pic 4 , # 55 , a very nice model , silver body , black bumpers , was made in China and # 59 , one of my favorites , nice in this deep red , made in Thailand . Without brand name in the blister , these models were on sale also in Germany .
