| 3rd shelf , Siku change to metal ! Nice models with good body lines , detailed interior , front and rear lights and atention to the scale , makes this serie a " must have " for any collector . Pic 1 , on the right , five 1964 Kapitan A # V252 , 3 red and 2 blue cars . Excellent model , good body lines , finely engraved grille with plastic headlamps , openning front doors , detailed interior , suspension , nice wheels , even if very simple are the main features on this model . The 2 cars on the second line are the best , the red one is " mint boxed " , color is " braunrot " with bege interior and black steering wheel , R1 wheels and P3 box . The two blue cars aren't perfect , good models with some paint " problems " on the edges and are unboxed . Slightly different shades of blue , bege interior with black steering wheel , different bases and R2 wheels . The two dark red cars in the midle , are in good shape, only paint loss on edges , with bege interior and black steering wheel and R1 wheels . Pic2 show blue color and base variants , while pic 3 shows the different red color . The Kadett A on the left is # V204 and was made since 1963 until 1966 . Two color variants , light and pastel blue , R1 and R1 silver wheels and P3 boxes . Excellent body , grille and bumpers part of the metal base , " diamant " front lights and red plastic rear lamps , red interior with white steering wheel . My car is the pastel blue variant with R1 silver wheels . No box and next time I will try to buy a mint boxed model . |

Pic 4 , the Kadett A from another angle and two
Rekord A , # V222 , the 2 doors saloon and # V226 the Caravan .
The Rekord A 2 doors was made between 1964 and 1966 . Two
variants of this model , two different grey , oppening doors ,
always R1 wheels and two different P3 boxes . The interior is
red with white steering wheel , bumpers and grille with "
diamant " headlamps " part of the base . My model is mint and
the light grey variant . The # V226 , also made between 1964 and 1966 , red , two variants dark red or brownish red , oppening rear door and like the V222 , R1 wheels and P3 boxes . The interior is white with black steering wheel , bumpers and grille with " diamant " headlamps " part of the base . My model is mint boxed , and the dark red variant . |

| Pic 5 , only one model , but one of my favorites . I always loved these big KAD1 models coupled to a big caravan , or a boat . V279-1 , this is the 1st edition of this set . Standad blue Kapitan and light yellow Westfalia Caravan . My models aren't perfect but almost mint in a very good box . |
