| As brand name , Siku , short name for Sieper Kunststoffe , appears in 1950 , showing in the Nurenberg Toy Fair , some figures and farm animals . The production of 1/ 60 scale modelcars starts in 1955 , but the old figures , road signs , public telephone , etc , are still in the catalogue . Later in 1963 the plastic models were discontinued changing to metal with the V Serie . These old Siku toys are highly valued , specialy the plastic models and the old V Serie range . |
